It is the first time the Zebras progress beyond the first round, and will now meet Zambia in the second round.

BFA president, Maclean Letshwiti said through some businesspeople, he managed to raise the money, to be shared among the players and technical team.

'I am delighted to announce that I have consulted a few prestigious business people to reward the Zebras for a good performance over the past few games,'Letshwiti said in a statement.

'My respect for value added to our national badge will not go unnoticed and this motivation will ignite the boys to do well at the upcoming COSAFA tournament to be played in Durban.'

Mogomotsi 'Teenage' Mpote, installed as Zebras' interim manager following David Bright's sacking, has fared better.

He lost his first game in charge against Angola, but has recorded back-to-back victories over Seychelles.
