It brought together different female powerhouses in one place to give talks in areas of their expertise.

This fun-filled inspiring day attracted women from different backgrounds in terms of their career lines, ownership of business, and aspirations in life under one roof.

Addressing the attendees were powerful women in Botswana, amongst them Patricia Raditholo from Botswana Life, Nora McAslin founder of Nora Cosmetics.  They shared their experiences and the challenges they have been through in the cooperate world.

Nicolette Chinomona, one of the organisers of the event, proudly stated this was the first ever I Am Tomorrow Interactive Festival to be in Africa given that it has been hosted in every continent in the world. “It’s an interactive festival where we bring together women in business, technology and non-profit organisations (NGO) to share insides, inspire each other, have fun and celebrate womanhood,” Chinomona stated.

Tumelo Mokobye who runs Botswana Organisation for Sisters Empowering Junior Associates, an NGO, was one of the panellists discussing ways to bring more women into business.

She said their main aim is to keep a girl child in school. In the process, they would empower them by giving them tuition for the four main subjects that are Mathematics, Science, English and Setswana. “I’m honestly lost for words, I am truly amazed by the power women possesses, I have amazingly powerful women willing to come through and help mentor these young girls for absolutely free,” Mokobye mentioned in gratitude.

Business owner and one the attendees, Rejoice Makuke said it was quite a great experience and recommends that such events happen annually to empower aspiring business owners.
