The six, Tebogo Mhale, 33, Thabang Gabakgore, 28, Kabalano Timothy Mothusi, 33, Mooketsi Moeng, 36, Joseph Thabo Gakepina, 36 and Oteng Phillip Tshegofatso, 25, were arraigned today before the Broadhurst Magistrate’s Court.

Early this week the police arrested three of lot after an alleged armed robbery took place at Builderspot hardware in Kopong village where they are suspected to have stolen money amounting to P10,000. 

Yesterday, the police nabbed the last three and recovered cash amounting to P1,500, a rifle, live ammunition and two pistols.  The suspected armed robbery crew is also linked to an incident that took place last year at Jan Botswana in which money amounting to P189,000 was stolen.  The six suspected armed robbers are also linked to another incident that occurred at Save Rite Supermarket in Otse early this year in which cash amounting to P10,000 was stolen.

Furthermore, the suspects are also linked to yet another incident, which occurred at Engine Filling Station in Bokaa, where close to P3,500, two cell phones and cigarettes were stolen.  It is alleged that they tried to blast the safe at the establishment, but failed.
