Most of the attendees were amazed to see pilots display complex manoeuvres in the sky. Despite having to look up to the sky all day the main highlight of the day was the great wall of fire. The activity, which always leaves people in shivers features a bomb like explosion and the moment to die for especially for smartphone photographers.

The Puma Energy Flying Lions blew the crowd’s minds as usual with their formation. The four Harvard planes thundered over the great wall of fire leaving behind a dark cloud of smoke.

The other adrenaline moment is when a helicopter dropped a car from the sky.

It was also exciting to see Team Extreme in action with their formation of aerobatic display. The team performs a display of close formation and freestyle aerobatics, cross-over passes, synchronised aerobatics and solo gyroscopic manoeuvres.

Most were looking forward to seeing aircrafts of different shapes and size. Among them was the Little Annie mostly known as the Antonov AN-2 aircraft.

Although it is a small aircraft, Little Annie brought smiles to everyone. For viewers it is always a marvel to watch pilots experience the thrill of flying the acrobatic sports planes. The images pilots paint in the sky as they move around in trios always leaves something to gaze at. From model aircraft displays to people landing their parachutes from the sky, the Airshow was never short of any activity and to top it all Botswana skies were beautiful on the day.
