Mascom Expands Broadband Offering

MySurf’s package includes a free router, three SIM cards (one for data and the others for mobile voice calls) unlimited data on 4G/3G, free monthly video on demand subscription to MyPlay services, plug and play feature and no installation fees.

Subscribers will be required to pay a once off P435 service fee and choose from three packages starting from P375 per month for a speed of two megabytes per second.

Speaking at the official launch of the new package, Mascom acting chief executive officer, Dzene Makhwade-Seboni highlighted that MySurf is a ‘triple play’ product meaning it will offer data, mobile voice calls and entertainment.

“MySurf service offers flexibility as it can be used both at home and in business,” she stated.

Mascom head of fixed sales services, Niall Downey said customer experience was key to the company and MySurf would offer customers great value coupled with a great network experience.

He added that MySurf continues Mascom’s commitment to providing customers with the best value while ensuring the company leads the way in innovation within the market.

“Creativity is intelligence while having fun and I believe that customers will enjoy and have fun with Mascom MySurf services,” he said. Downey said MySurf was just the first of many new services Mascom intends to launch in 2019.
