Masire quits WUC

This comes at a time when the corporation is implementing its retrenchment exercise.
In an internal memorandum issued to WUC staff today, the acting board chairperson, Noble Katse has informed staff that the WUC CEO, Masire will end of this week be leaving the employ of the WUC.
“The 7th June, 2019 shall be Masire’s last day with the WUC upon which Gaselarona Senai will commence as the acting CEO, ending the recruitment of a substantive CEO,” reads a memorandum authored by Katse in part.
Senai has been the sustainability and water resources director.
In a staff notice issued by Masire himself earlier today, he urged his colleagues to continue in every way to make WUC a better place and to serve Batswana to the best of their abilities.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the support you gave me,” Masire bid his staff farewell.
It however, remains unclear whether Masire has been pushed or he has simply jumped.
