Bondo and Godisamang were in Zambia for the CAF Champions League group match between Lusaka based Zesco and Wydad Casablanca of Morocco.

Thieves reportedly broke into Godisamang’s room and made away with valuables worth $10,000 (P100,000). “They went into Godisamang’s room and stole a CAF communication system worth $7,000, a FIFA polar watch, my phone which was charging in his room, a laptop, $670 cash, R520 and they also went to the second assistant referee’s (who is from DRC) room, and made away with other valuables,” Bondo said from Zambia yesterday. He said they suspect that a woman who had booked a room at the hotel was involved in the break-in based on footage from CCTV cameras.
