Motswako Kings headline Gabs meets Bokone Bophirima

The star-studded event will feature the likes of Scar, Khuli Chana, Tuks Senganga, Mo Molemi and new school cat Ban T. This is the first time in a long time that Motswako heavyweights have shared a stage together in the country.
Veterans Scar, Mo Molemi, Tuks Senganga and Khuli Chana are expected to bring back their old groove on stage since they have not been releasing any trending content like how they used to do a few years ago. Rookie Ban T is also expected to bring that new school feel on stage.
This will be the first time South African rappers, save for Tuks Senganga, perform at Chez Nicolas.
The rappers will be backed by disc jockeys Ricky Lamar, Coco, Ash as well as South Africa’s Motsweding FM duo D. Mos and KB Molopyane.
“The Gabs meets Bokone Bophirima event has been funded by the South African North West province. We as Loapi events will be hosting them. This is one of their events they use to market their province as a tourist destination in South Africa,” said Aotlhe ‘Trauma’ Boiteto one of the Loapi events directors.
He stated that the South African North West province will also host an activation the following day at the Airport junction mall where people can visit the stall and get to learn more about the South African North West province.
Trauma hinted that Scar and Tuks Senganga will continue from where they left off the last time. The two have been working on a duet project together.
