Kanye�s State-Of-The-Art FNB Branch Launches

The FNB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Steven Bogatsu said the event marked an important day for the bank and the Kanye community. “Some of you might recall that Kanye branch is one of the oldest branches we have in the country.
It was opened in 1992 and has been an anchor of banking needs for Kanye and neighbouring villages. Now 24 years later, we are humbled to still have the trust, support, and loyalty of our customers in Kanye,” he said.
He highlighted that when the bank deliberated on the decision to relocate to a new place, they had their customers in mind because they knew that they deserved a more spacious and modern banking facility.
The new branch was given a modernised look and feel. It came with enhancements such as The Quick Zone, where customers could view their accounts details and print their statements, Internet Banking Kiosk which enables customers to access online banking and perform transactions at their own convenience and ATM Advance Machine that allows customers to perform real-time cash deposits at their convenient times.
“There is also a Smart Device Display Desk. We came up with the Smart Device Loan to give customers access to smart devices and enable them to bank digitally and smart. As the old saying goes, don’t work harder, work smarter. The same can be said of the way in which you bank,” Bogatsu added.
He further explained that the smart devices enabled customers to take care of their banking needs at the comfort of their homes or offices. However, Bogatsu said he believed that those new developments would provide the people of Kanye a great banking experience.
He said since their inception in 1991, the bank was committed to constantly bring innovative solution and provide inclusive banking to Batswana.
For his part, Kgosi Malope II applauded FNB for demonstrating their commitment to the development of their village by investing in more spacious branch with modern facilities.
“We all appreciate that availability of good infrastructure and amenities such as banks affect one’s choice of business location. We are confident that the new FNB Kanye Branch boosts investors confidence to invest in Kanye,” he said.
He further stated that FNB had put their village on the map by opening a modern branch saying that it availed more space and modern banking facilities such as the ATM with deposits, self-service zone and the quick zone to give them a great banking experience.
