The show is exclusive to Zambezi Magic channel 160 on DSTV and will air every Thursday from 9:30pm to 10:30pm.
Multichoice in partnership with Botswana Life Insurance made this possible for Batswana. During a press briefing in Gaborone this week, Managing Director of Multichoice Botswana, Katlego Arnone said this was an idea they have wanted to develop for Batswana since 2017.
“This is our first partnership with Botswana Life Insurance, we first did the Realeboga Life Insurance whereby every primary subscriber was insured,” Arnone added.
For his part Botswana Life Insurance Chief Executive Officer, Ronald Samuels highlighted that it was of great pleasure to be launching the partnership with Multichoice.
“We pride ourselves in providing Batswana with quality services. about questions that often arise from our partnership with Multichoice. First and foremost we recognise Multichoice as a brand. The quality of entertainment that they give appeals to people of all ages, and furthermore impacting with local talent and content producers,” he said.
Samuels added that, courtesy of DSTV subscribers, the debut of this event will help shine the spotlight on Botswana’s very own talent.
“This can further grow and import entertainment industry experts, a generation of filmmakers, producers and a set of designers,” he revealed.
He was also quick to express his gratitude to Multichoice Botswana, as this event is a first of its kind in Botswana.
Date My Family is a popular dating show that has gained its popularity amongst its viewers since its inception in Zambia. Date My Family is a dating show with a twist, where bachelors and bachelorettes share a meal with three different families while their potential partner watches how everything unfolds from a monitor in a separate room. In this case, the family needs to impress to vouch for the entrant to win.
