This year’s edition attracted a big crowd of the oldies enjoying their night while at the same time reminiscing about their younger years when such music was the in thing.

The venue provides enthusiasts of the event a spacious place to sit and enjoy their beverages and music.

DJ Cando from Mahikeng who played hits by the likes of Brenda Fassie and Yvonne Chaka Chaka had people on their feet dancing away to the tunes.

Speaking to Showtime, Marketing Administrator of Peermont Botswana and also one of the organisers of the event, Samantha Bogopa said that this year they mainly wanted to engage patrons from all over the country.

That explains why they had people such as DJ Cando from Mahikeng. “Even though there was one DJ that disappointed and decided to play rather recent music our agreement was that all DJs should play 70’s & 80’s music.

But apart from that, all the other DJs delivered, amongst them Dino Bravo from South Africa who got the dance floor on fire,” Bogopa said.

She further stated that from the first edition of the show, the reception was very good. People are always looking forward to the next edition, Bogopa noted, extending highest gratitude to everyone who went an extra mile to make sure the event was a success.
