Kgathi scores own goal

After lauding plaudits on Moabi, the young Kgathi scored an own goal after he appealed to Moabi to marry despite the fact that Moabi is already married and was seated right next to his wife at the top table.
Kgathi said: “I plead with you to marry and bring a wife to your home”.
When Moabi was earlier on introduced, he was with his wife and they were seated next to each other.
Taking to the podium, BDP Youth Wing member Tony Sebabi first corrected Kgathi’s error.
He said: “Down with UDC down! Let me first start by correcting my colleague. Mavange is a married man. The onus now lies with you to follow suit and marry. The BDP will resoundly win the elections in October. The BDP has laid a strong solid foundation and has diligently led this country since time immemorial”.
Later, President Mokgweetsi Masisi also encouraged his parliamentary and council candidates to marry.
He warned them that having multiple romantic relationships was a recipe for disaster, which may also distract them from carrying out their civic and personal issues diligently.
“You should restrain yourselves no matter how hard it may be. Your intergrity as the people’s servants also depend on how you handle your personal lives and relationships,” the president advised.
