Battle for Copa Coca Cola glory begins

Matches kicked-off yesterday across several venues in the capital, including Gaborone Senior, Ledumang Primary, Marang Junior, Motswedi and Taung Primary Schools.
The winners will be crowned iskenderun escort bayan on Saturday, with three of the four defending champions in action.
Radisele are the defending champions in the boys and girls’ Under-17 category, while Batanani look to defend their title in the Under-15 girls category.
The finals will be played at Lekidi on Sunday.
Nthwalang coach, Patrick Paraminase, who won the Under-15 title last season, hailed the Copa Coca Cola as a tournament that nurtures young talent. He had three players who took part in the Copa Coca Cola Nations Cup in Kenya last year.
This year, after the Nthwalang boys failed to defend their title, being eliminated in the qualification stage, Paraminase has been roped in to assist the girls’ Under-17 side at the finals.
“This is a very good tournament which gives our young players the opportunity to compete at an early stage. They compete at a higher level. I am happy that three of our players were chosen last year to represent the country at the Nations Cup in Kenya,” Paraminase said.
Nthwalang was used to launch this year competition, and sponsors, Coca Cola, announced an increase in the sponsorship deal, from last year’s P800,000 to P1.2million.
