New Look Main Mall Filling Station Shop Opens in Style

It is the third Shell Filling Station in Gaborone to showcase a pizza and restaurant section going by the brand name, Chicken and Pizza Inn, following the Fairground and BBS Mall Shell Filling Stations.
However the main mall pizza and restaurant section is simply the best in terms of space and ambience that allows customers to relax both inside and outside as they eat.
The highlight of the day was when guests, including assistant minister Moiseraele Goya, were treated to a taste of the pizza and chicken that the new look main mall filling station, also known as the Kudu Filling Station, is now offering. The Pizza and Chicken Inn restaurant franchise is a result of partnerships between Vivo Energy, the operators of the Shell license, and Zimbabwean pizza and chicken restaurant company, Innscor.
Speaking at the official opening, Vivo Energy Botswana managing director Wayne Kingwill said today’s customers are looking for more than just a fill-up when they drive into their forecourts.
“Ultimately it is not just about the quality fuels and lubricants that we sell to our customers, but about delivering a complete service station experience...across our network, we are looking to upgrade our service stations to a modern format and that’s why this partnership with Innscor - with its well-known and high quality quick service restaurant brands - is so important to us,” he said.
There are currently over 80 shell service stations in the country, of which 12 offer shopping convenience with Shell Select stores. The company employs 1,800 locals throughout its service stations and Select shops.
