Stanbic Engages NBFIS

As a significant partner to this sophisticated client base, Stanbic Bank is championing growth in the sector through innovative and relevant financial product solutions. This was made clear at the NBFI stakeholder engagement held on Thursday August 4, 2016, hosted by Stanbic Bank’s Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Division.

The event featured various local NBFI sector players ranging from stockbrokers, insurance brokers, pension funds and pension fund consultants and asset managers. As Botswana’s financial services sector continues to grow even outside of retail banks, opportunity for support in this space has increased in recent years, with Stanbic Bank’s CIB Division playing an integral role.

“At Stanbic Bank Botswana, we offer a wide range of tailor-made investment solutions to suit the needs of our customers. We value and recognise the critical role played by our NBFI clients in the growth and development of our local economy.” said Sheperd Aisam, Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, Stanbic Bank Botswana.  “This conference serves as a platform for us to share our insights, and contribute towards the economic growth initiatives driven by our clients. Stanbic Bank is committed to supporting the local NBFI sector and driving its growth beyond Botswana’s borders through the long term partnerships we hope to foster beyond this conference.”
