The event is set to become an annual event with a lot of activities such as bon fires, fire works, braais and a motorcade by the Altezza Club alongside performances by local and international artists.

ATI is set to grace the stage alongside “Kokota piano” hit makers, Kay Gee da King and Bizizi as the main act. Supporting ensemble includes Chef Gustos, Captain Dira, Zolasko, DJ Bruno and many more.

Thamaga has become the hub of entertainment for local revellers who seek top class entertainment, which has gained the village the moniker “Dubai” after the lavish city in the United Arab Emirates.

“One of the parties we had approached for partnership turned on us and became our competition,” event organiser Brian Moleri told Arts & Culture.  To beat their competitor Moleri said that they will have tighter security.

He also emphasised on how the element of time is in their favour as their event is set to go from 2pm to 6am.  This is due to the fact that both parties are hosting similar events on the same day.

Tickets for the event are available at the 4y Bottle Store, early bird tickets will cost P60 until Friday, and standard tickets will be sold at P80, tickets for three cost P160 while VIP tickets will be sold at P250 with food and drinks.  A double VIP ticket is sold at 350 also with food and drinks.

Moleri added that they have made all the preparations for the event and promises revellers will not regret coming to the event.

He said they have other events billed for the months of November and December called “What happens in Thamaga stays in Thamaga”.
