Racing in his home village, Pollock won the tightly contested OR1 category, as Perry came in second while Mohamed Jones finished third. In a terrain stretching 200km, riders were taken of their usual sandy terrain as they had to deal with rocky, hard-pack. Pollock said that home ground advantage worked on his favour on the afternoon as he targets a podium finish at the end of the season.

'I am very happy. This one goes out to the people of Kopong. It was nice and tight, but it favored smaller bikes whilst the bigger bikes struggled. But at the end of the day we made use of what we could. I missed a lot of races of but intention is to win the championship. I will see how it goes in the last rounds,' he said.

The seventh of the nine rounds of the championship pulled an impressive turn-out and produced shocks on the track. Wilkinson won the OR2 category  while Vincent Crosbie bagged the OR3.

Owen Clulow finished  first in the OR4 as James Alexander won the OR5. Kosmas Mamloulous was impressive as he bagged the OR7. The last two rounds of the championship will be held in Maun and Serowe respectively.
