The meeting that was scheduled to take place at Nanogang Junior Secondary School was postponed to August 17 after the members failed to form a quorum.

Just over a 100 members turned out for the meeting while the club’s constitution suggests that two thirds of the club’s membership should in attendance for the meeting to take place. “It is very disappointing that our members did not turn up.

It is at these kind of gatherings that we make resolutions and come up with ideas on how to improve the club’s situation,” Nsunge said.

Meanwhile the club has released Zambian attacker, Jasper Masialeti just six months in to his two year deal. The striker joined GU in January but failed to make an appearance due to injury.

“Jasper was registered but he was never used. He had an injury and recommended to seek medicals in Zambia. It is during this window that he team decided to part ways with him. “
