Larry Don Capital Follows His Dream

Larry Don Capital, who is the son to former Zebras player, Thato Siska, got blessings from his paternal grandmother, parents and brother in taking on his music career.

“Take on the world my son, it’s your dream to follow,” his grandmother said in a video played to the audience during the meet-and-greet where Larry Don Capital took people through his life’s journey.

“When Larry Don Capital came knocking at my door four years ago looking for a manager, I had sworn I will never sign any artist given the public announcement I made last year about retiring from the promotions industry hence the name ‘Last Born’ that I address Larry Don Capital by,” Zenzele Hirchfeld.  said.

She was speaking about her journey with Larry Don Capital as his manager under Zen Promotions.

Hirchfeld mentioned that given a chance, the creative industry would become the second source of income in Botswana after diamonds.

“We will be going to Texas, US October end to attend the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA),” she said.

Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development, Tshekedi Khama, who graced the event urged Larry Don Capital to always remember where he came from and never forget family. 

Throwing jabs, Khama advised Larry to never consider joining politics.  “To your parents, you did good by giving your son a chance to follow his dream,” he added.

Khama who looked like a man who could dish out jokes for a good laughs, mentioned that he wished he would go to Texas with Larry Don Capital given what is happening this October.

Larry Don Capital finally performed a few of his songs that got literally everyone on their feet.
