It has been a decade since he dropped his first album and now the anticipation is over for Lister Boleseng’s fans. The album contains 8 songs and it is already playing on radio stations.   In an interview with Showbiz,

Lister Boleseng said he set a high standard in his first album no wonder it took him a decade to prepare his next offering. Boleseng said rushing to release an album would have been a problem.

“This second album shows growth in the way I approach music. I have taken fewer steps,” he said. Boleseng said he knew that he would release an album when he is ready and wanted to produce something appealing in Moratiso.

He however indicated that Moratiso does not necessarily mean a love portion synonymous with Setswana culture.

“I wanted to use a metaphor to play around with the meaning,” he said. Boleseng said Moratiso is an album, which once heard, one would not want to part ways with and contains mostly love songs.  Lister Boleseng, whose name has become synonymous with the jazzy sounds of the saxophone, said as an instrumentalist he had to cater for everyone.

He said he would have various supporting acts at the launch, among others his daughter Refilwe Boleseng and Moroka Moreri.

The standard ticket is P200 while VIP is P300.  He is a member of Re Batswana music ensemble with the likes of Shanti Lo, Nnunu Ramogotsi and Samantha Mogwe.

He has performed internationally in various countries such as Finland, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.
