The founder of Micon, Frank Lyn who is also a local gospel music artist told Arts & Culture that they would give contestants a chance to promote themselves.  “They are going to perform and afterwards we will interview them.

Contestants will get a chance to interact with the audience as well,” he revealed. He said it would be a free event.  Looking back, Lyn said so far, it has been challenging but now things are looking up with preparations for the show.

“Maru TV has given us a slot on Saturdays so we will appear this coming month,” he said. Lyn said they also took a decision to cut the contestants from 20 to 16.

“The ones we removed were not serious but we decided not to replace them but rather continue,” he said. Lyn said the voting line is on and now they are moving around places to give contestants a chance to campaign for themselves.

He said the voting line is 16639 courtesy of VIB mobile.  Lyn said they would make an audio magazine encompassing of contestants performances. The show seeks to empower upcoming musical talent while giving the world unparalleled world-class family entertainment.

Micon will see one winner walk away with a pre-owned 2014 Audi A4, P50, 000 cash, a home recording studio worth P18 000, a recording contract worth P30, 000, two international performance opportunities in Canada and Japan and a number of other incentives.
