Galaxy will host Mauritius’ Bolton City Youth Club at the Lobatse Sports Complex while Rollers will do battle tomorrow with Young Africans of Tanzania at the National Stadium as coaches Miguel da Costa and Tomas Trucha eye personal successes.

Galaxy’s coach, Miguel da Costa will look to reach the first round of the CAF Confederations Cup for the first time in his coaching career. The Portuguese made his debut in the competition in 2017 when he led Ugandan side, Vipers SC.

His side went down 2-0 on aggregate against South African side, Platinum Stars (now Cape Umoya United). On Sunday he will face a mountainous task as he seeks to avoid elimination from the competition with his side down 3-1 from the first leg played a fortnight ago.

The Galaxy Stars are in a must win tie against a fearless Bolton City side. As they search for goals, Galaxy will be pinning his hopes on striking duo of Patrick Kaunda and Tebogo Sembowa.

Despite signs of rustiness early into the season, the duo has proven to be capable of finding the back of the net after more than 20 goals in the previous season. Galaxy will face Zanaco FC of Zambia if they proceed to the next round. Kick off is at 3.45pm.

On the other hand, Trucha’s Popa played a 1-1 draw in the CAF Champions League first leg played in Tanzania. The Blues were denied an away goal by a late penalty as they could only secure a draw.

Trucha tastes his first continental football with memories of a very successful 2017 season in the back of his mind. In front of a home crowd, new signing Phenyo Serameng would be looking to have another good showing.

The winger scored on his debut for the team in Tanzania with a beautifully placed shot to the bottom corner. Striker, Tumisang Orebonye seems to once again have found his scoring boots.

He was in excellent form in the preseason but wasted a couple of chances in the first leg.  Kick off is at 3.30pm.
