Nokwazi, who shot straight to stardom following the hit song Inde, which she made with Heavy K,  arrived on stage after a lot of anticipation from her fans.

Nokwazi started her performance by letting her fans that had packed around the stage know she was excited to party with them.

It is rare to catch her live these days as her packed schedule now includes other Southern African countries, but Bahama Lounge made sure to catch her while she was still trending with her song Amagama.

She makes the sort of music that speaks to everyone and gets people dancing.

To remind people who she really is, Nokwazi performed Inde and it was certainly good to her perform it live after all these years.

To show her versatility in house music, Nokwazi did a freestyle of the hit Kokota piano right before she performed Vula Vala, an amapiano song by DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small.

The artist, who moved from traditional music to embrace the house genre, made sure she played the majority of hits she has featured in like Andinayo.

Nokwazi, whose odessy  started in church as a lead singer at the age of 10, then performed everyone’s favourite Amagama. Amagama is a song by Prince Bulo and it features the talented vocals of Nokwazi and Dladla Mshunqisi.

It’s a song that Nokwazi has managed to make it her own. She had to perform it twice to satisfy the crowd that was there to see her perform it.

Taking to the main stage, the headliner assured fans they were in for quite a show and she was not wrong at all. Overall, Bahama Lounge revellers were given a night they will not forget.

As she left the stage there was no doubt the fans were hoping the singer would come back and perform more songs. Her music is awe-inspiring and the audience was highly charmed by the astonishing performance that transcends national borders.
