The branch is an addition to the company’s five others of which two are in Gaborone, one in Francistown, another in Maun and the other in Palapye. Express Credit’s head office is situated at Fairgrounds in Gaborone.

“This is a milestone achievement for us to have six branches in a space of two years since we were established,” said Saleshando at the opening ceremony.

She added that with Lobatse being one of their strategic locations in delivering services to their customers, they had found it fit to open a branch to bring their services closer to them.

The company’s local management and representatives from parent company in Latvia graced the ceremony.

Lobatse branch manager, Itereleng Modikwagae said she was excited they have opened in the beef town as this will benefit their customers who have always had to travel long distances to access their services.

Modikwagae said the branch boasts of two full-time employees and 40 direct sales agents who have been strategically placed to further bring services closer to customers.

Saleshando told Business Monitor that their work ethic is what gives them a competitive edge over their peers, which is why they managed to grow in a short period of time.

“We pride ourselves in the speed of delivery when assisting our customers,” said Express Credit’s head of marketing, Tshepiso Goitsemang.

She said the company has a 24-hour turnaround time when assisting customers, which she says allows customers to get finance at the right time when they need it. Goitsemang said the company is currently running a competition dubbed ‘Apply and Win’ to give back to their customers.

When a customer applies for a loan within the period of the competition, he/ she can win a grand prize of a car, one of three cattle or a weekly prize of Samsung Galaxy J4 phones.
