Johnson Motshwarakgole Is A Wart On The Face Of Government!!

With all the court cases, bruised egos, wins and losses, everything at the end always points to one man, a man who has since evolved overtime into a wart on the face of the government, Johnson Motshwarakgole.

A wart is a small round dry growth on the skin, protuberance on skin of animals or surface of plant. Motshwarakgole fits this description in this form.

• Motshwarakgole comes across as an elderly figure in the public workers’ union. A man with a wealth of experience on workers’ protests, demonstrations, union power struggles, factions, betrayals, plots against government and career endings.

With all these, Motshwarakgole has ultimately become a brand, a brand worshipped by some and a clear wart on the face of government;

• Ahead of the 2014 general elections, he Motshwarakgole fathered and marshalled what became known as the “Moono” tagline. His affiliation with the opposition Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC), not only has it been a nightmare to the ruling party, it has hindered progress on the public workers’ grievancies. The public sector has since been politicised and turned into an opposition parties’ grooming beehive.

Workers in the public sector today openly identify with political parties with leaders of BOFEPUSO precisely him, Motshwarakgole addressing opposition political parties’ rallies and endorsing opposition parties’ candidates.

• Government relations with workers’ unions have become a bitter pill primarily because of Motshwarakgole’s plotting and self-seeking approach to workers issues. His stay in BOFEPUSO continues to bury any hopes of ever mending relations between government and public workers’ unions.

Certainly, when a wart protrudes on the face and starts to become irritating, it is necessary to remove it.

 It has become very difficult to foster any form of progressive relation between workers’ union and government as Motshwarakgole continues to encourage animosity towards government.

If not attended to, this has potential to paralyse the public sector. Public workers, union activists should see through this man’s division-oriented approach to circumstances and deny him any future position of leadership within the public unions and the mother federation, BOFEPUSO.
