After serving for close to a decade in the Rollers’ technical bench Mpote left for Orapa United in 2017 where he has affirmed himself as the Blues’ perennial tormentor.

Teenage has never lost against the league champions in the three meetings as the Ostriches’ head coach, the latest being a 3-0 resounding win in the FA Cup final earlier this year.

Tomorrow, United will take on Rollers in a BTC Premiership encounter to be played at the National Stadium. Mpote will aim to cut off record yet another victory over his former employers.

On the opposite bench sits Tomas Trucha, once at United, but never led the team in an official match. His United career was cut short after the club relieved him of his duties just four months into the job and Mpote ironically replaced him.

The Czech Republican has found a new home at the Blues and he will face the Ostriches for he first time and will be aiming to show his former employers his worth on Saturday afternoon.  The clashes between the two sides have never failed to produce sparks. They have met on 12 occasions with Rollers winning five while United won two, with four league encounters ending in draws.

In the process Popa have scored 21 goals while United have found the back of the net 12 times. They meet tomorrow after impressive wins on the opening day of the Premiership. Rollers beat Extension Gunners 3-2 while United won by a solitary goal against new comers, TAFIC.

Meanwhile tonight, Molepolole City Stars continue the search for a maiden win when they host TAFIC at the Molepolole Sports Complex while Notwane face Security Systems at the Lobatse Sports Complex.

Tomorrow, new comers Morupule Wanderers visit leaders, Jwaneng Galaxy at the Galaxy Stadium while Prisons XI and BDF XI do battle at the Lobatse Sports Complex.

From an impressive win, Gaborone United are on the road to face Miscellaneous at the Serowe Sports Complex while BR Highlanders travel down south in a bid for three points against Police XI at the Otse Stadium as Gilport Lions and Extension Gunners take their search for maximum points to the UB Stadium.

All evening games kick off at 7pm while afternoon games start at 3.30pm.
