The whole thing was more of a music festival than a political rally.

The first act of the day was Dr Vom setting the mood right with his dikhwaere music. Dr Vom started off with his timeless hit Thobane. As usual, he called fans to join him on stage as they sung along.

Thobane has proved to be a great song to get people on the right mood and probably believe their respective parties would win elections. He ushered in the guests and had people come closer for beginning of proceedings.

Molepolole natives are great fans of disco music loosely referred to as Splash. It was therefore expected that the crown went crazy when Silindile served her number one hit Uyinkosi.

Charma Gal received massive love that demonstrated that indeed local is great enough.

The Sekuta hitmaker caused the crowd to push closer to the stage and thereby disrupting the power supply in the process.

Upon ratifying the problem, Charma and her energetic dancers gave a thrilling performance that attracted more passers by just before the guest speaker Fana Mokoena could take to stage.

Kwaito lovers were also catered for in the mould of South African legends Alaska.

While the now aging Mapantsula were busy on stage, Molepolole’s own mapantsula also took to the dance floor to flash their skills.

Patricia Majalisa was the darling of the night. With most young man drinking quarts from a nearby bar calling for her to be called to the stage since their arrival. When she got on stage, the crowd got even closer with those at the back standing on chairs to see her do her magic.

Gospel music lovers were also catered for with South African Icon Sechaba soothing their souls with his melodies. The Khetha eyakho hitmaker had the crowd sing along and left them begging for more.

Khan promised that he would hold yet another huge rally festival with more big name artists.
