Gabs International Health Expo on the cards

Speaking on the sidelines of  a press conference in Gaborone recently, Gao Lemmenyane, one of the event organizers, said that the expo would be held annually and would attract both local and international organizations in the health Space.

The exposition will be held under the theme: “Embracing the 4th Industrial Revolution to advance healthcare in Botswana”. “Our aim is to contribute to making Botswana a medical tourism destination.

The purpose of the expo will be to bring together all stakeholders, the ones who can potentially collaborate as well as those who can invest.

Those who attend will also learn more about the 4th Industrial Revolution and how they can harness it to advance the healthcare system in Botswana,” creative director at Amble Promotions, Lemmenyane said.

Also unveiled at the press conference were some of the key partners, key among them the new kid on the block Kalafhi Medical Centre, which has pledged P100, 000 for the event.

“The Gaborone International Expo, is a noble course, and we are very excited about the expo, and we will beyond the funding that we pledged, we aim to do free medical screening for 1,000 people at the expo,” the Managing Director of Kalafhi Medical Centre, Dr Matlhogonolo Mongwa said.
