Different spinners will treat the audience to exhilarating stunts on Saturday

Adrenaline junkies are in for yet another spectacular day of car spinning after Mafikeng’s Austin ‘Powers’ Kruger and his 13-year-old brother Jean ‘Panjero’ calmed The Earthquake last time at Fairgrounds.

Vice President Mokgweetsi Masisi has already endorsed car spinning, so it’s time for the local spinners to step up and grow the sport.

What makes the event a gratifying experience is not only the talent we see in the car spinners but also the death-defying stunts performed every time people gather around the tyre barricaded spinning area. The audience is always in cloud nine whenever a driver leaps out of the spinning car after locking the turned car’s accelerator and steering wheel. Hanging on the roof of the spinning cars drives the crowd even more insane.

Now that the daredevil motorsport has returned to Mmopane for the second time this year, the most popular car the BMW 325i also known as Gusheshe, will aim to continue its dominance. While in the past foreign spinners have stolen the limelight away from the locals, this time the likes of Mothusi Alfred of Team Graveyard, Kagiso Binda of The Magistrate and Vishu will aim to continue where they left of. Many people are eyeing the return of The General who is a crowd favourite.  He missed the last spinning event after setting the standard in Mmopane earlier this year. Spin City Motor Events hosted the last event but Spin and Speed Club would host this one.
