Dow Attends UNGA74

Dow will attend several High-Level Sessions addressing peace and security, development and human rights issues.

“These will include the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, Climate-Action Summit, the High-level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage, the High-Level Dialogue on Financing and Development.

The Honourable Minister is expected to deliver Botswana’s Statement to the General Assembly on 30 September 2019. On the margins of the General Assembly, the Minister will participate in a roundtable under the theme “Linking Health and Economic Growth in Africa” at a roundtable event organised by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA).

The objective of this event is to highlight the symbiotic relationship between healthcare and economic growth in Africa and to explore partnerships in the health sector,” a statement from the Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation states.
