Nkhuha is jointly charged with Ernest Legwale for the alleged murder of Thato Meswele back in September 2015 at Oodi village.

Then, Legwale allegedly hired Nkhuha and Dzichanaka Davie believed to have fled to South Africa after committing the offence to kill his then wife, Dimpho Meswele but mistakenly killed her sister Thato.

Determining the bail application, Justice Michael Leburu indicated that he had taken into consideration the documents filed by the prosecution when opposing the accused’s bail along side others filed by the accused person.

He therefore concluded that if Nkhuha could be granted bail he is likely to abscond.

When pleading for bail,  Nkhuha said Legwale who he has been jointly charged with him is currently on bail hence his (Nkhuha’s) bail plea. He also said that his family is suffering without care back at Zimbabwe. The case is scheduled for roll call on November 6.
