Enko Education is an Africa-wide network of international schools increasing access for African students to high-quality education and the best universities in the world.

Founders, Cyrille Nkontchou and Eric Pignot realised that inadequate preparation in African secondary schools denied students access to the best universities and sought to reverse the trend and created a ‘springboard for the continent’s students. Welcoming potential students and parents to the new entrant in the secondary school education in Botswana, Project Manager Lyna Nossir said Enko was created based on four main pillars.

“Our mission, which is to increase access to the world’s leading universities and to successful careers through high quality international education, our vision; to Unlock learners’ potential across Africa to enhance the global future, our values; Caring Committed Pathmakers and Team-spirited, and most importantly our territory, we are proudly African and we work to empower our people,” Nossir stated

Excited about the pre-independence day celebration and ‘fantastic turn out’ of parents and students and many students who took the entrance assessment, Nossir revealed that Enko Education has foot prints in seven other countries and 13 schools in Africa. She said they combined an international curricula with a university guidance programme as well as a unique and enriched learning experience.

Yukesha Makhan of Enko Botho said their commitment is to promote inter-cultural awareness and respect through one of the largest education groups in Africa offering International Baccalaureate.

“Every student has the potential to become the next president of their country or the next soccer star. Let us unlock your potential and ignite the spark of genius,” she said. The Enko Eucation has helped students into top universities such as Yale, Lancaster amongst others.

She added; “As global leaders, our students should reflect on knowing who you are and what you believe in, what you want as well as attract others and help them to follow while earning and retaining the privilege to lead. These following attributes are also important for all nation builders; character, authenticity, integrity, and self-ownership of this planet.”

Parents were taken around the campus which is in it’s first phase of development. The school’s staff assured the parents that development work will be out of sight.
