Stats back Stars in GU clash

The former 'Zola derby', which kicks off at 7pm, sees Enosi Mmesi's side fancying their chances against a GU side now under Nikola Kavazovic.

Despite, a rough start to the season, Stars finally got the monkey off their back with a 2-1 win against Miscellaneous a week ago.  Against, GU, they have been dominant. The pair has met on four occasions and Stars have won two, while the other two ended level.  An astonishing 11 goals have been scored, seven of those from Stars' boots. 

The Residents are 11th with two points from four games while GU are third with eight points, just four behind leaders Security Systems.  Stars have two points despite registering a win, due to the points docked for violating Club License regulations.

At 4pm, Gilport Lions would look to stop Systems' onslaught at the Otse Stadium. Later, Orapa United will be eager to return to winning ways as they welcome a tricky Police XI side at the Itekeng Stadium. Bottom placed Notwane faces BR Highlanders at Lobatse Sports Complex.  

Tomorrow, the Molepolole Sports Complex hosts an enticing contest between BDF XI and Jwaneng Galaxy while bruised Township Rollers visit Morupule Wanderers at the Serowe Sports Complex.

TAFIC and Miscellaneous clash at the Francistown Sports Complex while Extension Gunners welcome Prisons XI at the Lobatse Sports Complex.  All the games kick off at 7pm.
