From the midweek clashes, Popa will be licking their lips with eyes on the gap between the team and log leaders, Security Systems. The gap has been reduced to three points after Systems played to a goalless draw against Orapa United.

Sechaba in all sorts of problems, the league champions are presented with a chance to close in on Systems. Popa are riding high after 12 goals in the last three games.

Despite an undesirable defensive record, with seven goals conceded in as many games, the Blues are the highest scoring team in the league with 19 goals. Attackers Lemponye Tshireletso and Motsheletsi Sikele pose a serious threat to the opposition.

Since recovering from injury, Tshireletso has been deployed in a false number nine position, a change that is paying dividends after he scored in each of the last four games.

Sikele, who has been in inspiring form, leads the green boot race with six goals in seven games.

Popa meet a Notwane side that still awaits a response from the Botswana Football Association regarding the appointment of coach Gilbert Mushangazhike. With Oupa Kowa at the helm, Sechaba are turning around their fortunes, albeit at a snail’s pace.

The team has not lost in the past two games with draws against Gaborone United (GU) and BDF XI. Thus reducing the ‘points debt’ to negative four.

Notwane were docked six points, even before this season’s ball was kicked, for contravening Club Licencing requirements.

The team has shown lack of confidence in front of goal as they have scored just once but conceded eight times in seven games.

Since November 2010, Notwane have only won against Rollers, once. Since their return to top-flight football, the two teams have shared the spoils on two occasions.

Meanwhile, following midweek victories, TAFIC and BR Highlanders will lock horns tomorrow afternoon at the Francistown Sports Complex as Jwaneng Galaxy will look to return to winning ways against Gilport Lions at the Galaxy Stadium.

BDF XI welcome Extension Gunners at the Molepolole Sports Complex while Orapa United visit Miscellaneous at the Serowe Sports Complex.

On Sunday afternoon, Prisons XI who are on the back of two consecutive 5-0 defeats, face Nikola Kavazovic’s GU who are gunning for a first win under the new gaffer, at the Molepolole Sports Complex.

Systems take on Police XI at the Lobatse Sports Complex as they look to maintain their unbeaten streak while Morupule Wanderers welcome Molepolole City Stars at the Serowe Sports Complex.
