SA Afro Pop musician, Zahara is not new to the Mascom live Session stage having set it ablaze before. The multi award-winning artist has been a prominent feature of the Mascom Live Session shows over years and has never disappointed.

Zahara usually closes down the editions of Mascom Live Session having done that before in 2017. Then, she performed alongside Trinity Mpho and in 2015 when she shared the stage with Fresh Les.

For much of 2019, the Eastern Cape-born afro-soul singer Zahara’s personal life has hogged the headlines for the wrong reasons. So as she steps on the local stage tonight, the Loliwe hitmaker will be hell-bent on reminding everyone that she is famous for her singing talent and not some of the stuff.

She is expected to perform some of the songs from her most recent album, Umgodi. From her struggles with alcohol abuse and alleged financial woes, Zahara will forget all of that as she gets a glimpse of what Amantle Brown is all about.

Speaking of Amantle Brown, the Mascom Live Stage is also not new to her having performed there for the last time in 2016.

At the time the Black mampatile hitmaker shared the stage with Ringo Madlingozi. Amantle Brown was a newbie at the time and was thrown into the deep end by sharing the stage with a legend of such high stature as the two performed Ringo’s sondela.

But Amantle Brown has done well for herself since then. She has released more songs, made more money and she is perhaps as confident as ever. She has new releases such as a song called Paakanyo featuring ATI.

Since her breakup with fellow musician Jujuboy, Amantle Brown has turned to making more music.

Many would be hoping to see the award winning singer-songwriter’s performance of the song called eternity featuring Jordan MoOzy. Tickets for the show are sold at P300 at the show starts at 8pm.
