The partnership is such that the two provide access to the DStv service through the vast network of Botswana’s oldest post service provider.

The development is a result of a strategic partnership between BotswanaPost and MultiChoice Botswana; two companies which are rooted in Botswana and committed to improving lives in a significant way, says a statement from the two organisations.

The statement also says the strategic partnership not only provides DStv subscribers with more location options in which they can pay their subscriptions, but they also get to enjoy more convenience as the subscription payments are also available on BotswanaPost online platforms.

“Our business has grown hand-in-hand with the economy of Botswana by forging long-term partnerships which put the communities in which we operate in and our customers first,” MultiChoice Botswana Managing Director, Katlego Arnone said.

“Our partnership with BotswanaPost, an entity that over the years has become so essential and so synonymous with the simple existence of a Motswana citizen, is one we are exceptionally proud of.

For us, it’s bigger than just convenience to the customer. It’s symbolic of our commitment to Botswana, to being part of Botswana and to growing with Botswana and its people.”

Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer of BotswanaPost Cornelius Ramatlhakwane added that spanning over one hundred and forty years (140) years, the BotswanaPost drive of ‘Service Leadership’ has been a key component in how we do business.

“Service Leadership is our commitment to the communities we serve. This has always been, and remains the driving force behind everything we do to better serve our vast clientele base.

The courage to engage as part of our Service Leadership enables us to build solutions which address both community and business needs.

It is in line with this that BotswanaPost saw it fit to embrace collaboration with MultiChoice Botswana,” he continued.

Over and above the 141 Post Offices and selected kiosks in Sefalana stores, BotswanaPost’s value adding e-services are accessible via PosoOnline. They will be available on PosoMoney and PosoApp in due course.

In addition to paying their monthly DStv subscriptions, customers are also able to downgrade or upgrade their packages on the aforementioned payment channels as well as check their account balances.

BotswanaPost and MultiChoice Botswana are mutually proud to have entered into the partnership as two businesses committed to positively contribute to the economy of Botswana and play role in the future of the country.
