The Zebras are in camp preparing for a crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda on June 5.

Rollers had given emotion and fatigue as reasons for the late release of their players, but announced over the weekend they had decided to let Kabelo Dambe, Keeagile Kgosipula, Ofentse Nato, Segolame Boy, Galabgwe Moyana and Joel Mogorosi to join the rest of the squad on Sunday.

Rollers had an emotionally draining campaign following endless protests over Nato’s registration. “After consulting with the BFA, Township Rollers players shall keep the emotion and fatigue aside and gracefully join the camp with rejuvenation in preparations of the international friendly fixtures and the AFCON 2017 (sic),” Rollers said on their Facebook page.

Zebras coach, Peter Butler said he could only comment on the available players after the squad assembles last night. Nato’s availability was in doubt after what he has been through in recent weeks although Butler said he would try and convince the midfielder.

Butler had reportedly lined-up replacements had the Rollers players not honoured the call-up. Ironically, the decision to release the players came after the Botswana Football Association (BFA) Disciplinary Committee ruled in Rollers’ favour on Friday over the deduction of 10 points.
