Molao attends G7 conference

The theme of the Conference is ‘Realizing Healthy Lives and Promoting Well- being for All’. There are three critical issues central to human security and the quality of life which the GCPPD 2016 will raise at the Tokyo meeting: 1. Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment

2. Investing in the Youth and

3. Building Active Aging Societies

In addition to these critical population and development issues, the GCPPD 2016 will also discuss emerging trans-boundary issues such as measures to combat deadly infectious diseases – which include Ebola and Zika - and merciless natural disasters caused by climate change.

The conference is intended to solicit high level commitments and political actions by global parliamentarians and ensure that the Conference outcomes will be delivered to the G7 leaders at the 42nd G7 Summit to be held in May 2016.Molao is expected back in the country on the 29th April 2016.
