Nicole Martinez Vows To Fill Up The National Stadium

There will be no other artists, no masters of ceremony, no backing vocalists, no dancers e.t.c. In short, NICOLE MARTINEZ will be the only person on stage and the only person responsible for filling up the stadium. Achieving this feat will hone Nicole towards achieving her dream of becoming the best female artist in Africa as well as becoming a prominent international act at the same level with Rihanna, Beyonce et al within the next three years. All things remaining the same (i.e. no interference from other artists’ ambitions) Nicole would, 1) become the first Motswana artist to fill up a stadium ALONE, 2) the first African female artist to fill up a stadium ALONE, 3) the first upcoming artist in the world to rise to mega stardom in six months and fill up a stadium.

Current works Nicole sings well almost all music genres ranging from RnB, Pop, Rock, House, Electro Dance Music, West Africa Dance music and she can also rap (Hip Hop). She has just released a House single called Bandleng (featured by Juicy Black). Bandleng has received a great positive feedback from Batswana many who could not believe a Motswana was capable of producing such a great song.

Bandleng has become a favourite for bar/club revellers who have been dancing uncontrollably to it, as well as students (Combi9 drivers have been playing the song to students while transporting them to and from school).

Unfortunately Nicole’s music has not been able to penetrate the radios well, because so far we haven’t heard Bandleng play on radio except at RB2. RB2 gave Nicole an interview over the weekend, and played her song Batswana to review. The feedback from Batswana was overwhelming. All Batswana who called on radio confessed that they were mesmerised by the song. We thank RB2 for this rare opportunity, and request other radio stations to consider following suit in playing Bandleng (or other Nicole’s songs) for Batswana to review.

Because we believe given the current exceptionally positive feedback we are getting from Batswana for Bandleng, Bandleng stand a very high chance of topping the charts if it was given enough exposure and chance to compete against songs that are currently in the Top 20 e.t.c. of Botswana radio stations. Nicole will release two more singles by the end of this month. One will be of Hip Hop/RnB genre and the other of Pop/Rock genre all of which contribute towards defining her as an exceptionally talented musician of diversity.

Internationally appealing, Nicole has received lots of liking from people of the world outside Botswana. Some people have likened her beautiful singing voice to that of Rihanna, Brenda Fassie, Shakira, Zahara and rap flows to that of Nicky Minaj. Many artists and producers across the world have constantly requested for a chance to work with Nicole.

The distance and lack of funds has been our major shortfall but we are doing our best to curb it. Her first international project was making a cover for Rihanna’s song (45 Seconds) where she worked with the Virtual Brothers (from Calcutta, India).

The project (music video) was done over the Internet and completed yesterday (17 April 2016) and released on You-Tube. We continue to work with other artists/producers across the world and will reveal their collaborative work with Nicole as they get completed.

Penetrating the music industry has generally been almost an impossibility for most Batswana artists. But we believe Nicole will probably be the first Motswana artist to easily sail through to become an international megastar, since currently we don’t have a megastar from Botswana (A megastar is someone as big as Rihanna, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne e.t.c.).
