Jujuvine has previously shared funny skits on social media, which has upped his popularity in Zimbabwe, South Africa and locally. Jujuvine has promised to keep the stage alive with his comedy characters, Moruti Mahatshehatshe, Kgatleng FM DJ and many more.

Comedy lovers will remember Nene from David Kau’s hit feature film, Taxi Ride, where he plays the character of BakaBaka. In 2012 and 2013 Nene won the Audience Choice award at the South African Comics Choice Awards. In 2015 the funny man who is also a poet and actor, launched his one-man show Baby Mama, which is based on a strong observation made about single parenting issues.

The show will also give exposure to first timers, who will include Ommusitse “Stix” Magacha from Maun. Other comedians expected to perform at the event are Oefile “Mawee” Mokgware from Gabane, and Phenyo “The Master” Phaladi from Mochudi.

While enjoying jokes by comedians patrons will be treated to a cocktail tasting, which will be conducted by top notch experts.  Ryt Refreshments will be the ones serving the variety of cocktails.

“The Rail Park Mall comedy events have been consistently running for the past four years. This shows our commitment in supporting local talent as they as they also contribute a lot towards helping us market the mall and be trendsetters and thus bring new customers to our mall. Every year we come up with different themes that will appeal to different sectors of the community which makes the events more appealing and exciting as they lure new customers while retaining the existing ones,” Galebutswe Masu from Rail Park Mall said.

“The main aim really is to continue spreading awareness about our food court as well as standup comedy as an alternative form of entertainment that is abundant in Botswana. But the ultimate goal is to also help local comedians turn their talent into a livelihood”, she added.

Tickets for the show are available at Rail Park Mall Centre Management, and they go for P150 single and P200 double.
