Real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, Makhadzi was there as part of DJ KSB’s Bring On The Night tour. For a full house event, immediately revellers heard the song Riya venda also known as Stiletto to some fans, most of them started dancing before they could get a glimpse of Makhadzi on stage.
Arriving on stage just before 2am in the early morning of Saturday, she meandered around the stage wearing ankle boots, a matching sparkling top and shorts. Makhadzi prowled across the floor singing and dancing as her fans screamed in excitement. Some of her fans from the crowd rushed towards the stage. But the whole place was fully packed and there was chance to squeeze within the crowd.
The rousing reaction to her performance proudly reflected just how much Makhadzi has become a superstar in this country. Even though she sings in her Tshivenda language, her voice stands out and it is hard to ignore her even if one is not a fan.
People have been following Limpopo music and when she performed Master KG’s Di boa Limpopo, the crowd shot straight to cloud nine. The stage security had more work to do than ever. This is a song in which Makhadzi is featured alongside Zanda Zakuza. With Makhadzi and Master KG being lovers, some people expected Master KG to make a surprise entrance on the stage, but that didn’t happen.
Makhadzi finally performed the song Matorokisi that was one of the best hits of 2019. She unleashed a high-energy performance and the fans looked pleased as she ultimately exited the stage.
