The imposters, who claim to be engaged by Debswana to facilitate employee recruitment and enrolment to the Debswana apprenticeship programme, use different forms of media to solicit money from unsuspecting members of the public with promises of employment in Debswana or enrolment to the Debswana Apprenticeship Programme.

Debswana wishes to notify the general public that:

l The imposters are NOT and have NO RELATIONSHIP with the company, they have not been asked to provide any recruitment or enrolment services.

l Debswana has thorough processes in place for recruitment and apprenticeship enrolment.

l Debswana does not request for payment for one to be hired by the company or for one to be enrolled in the Apprenticeship Programme.

l Members of the public are advised to be always vigilant and avoid doing any dealings with people claiming to hire or influence recruitment outside Debswana’s laid down processes.

l Any member of the public who is approached by such persons should report the matter to the Police with immediate effect.

Please contact Debswana should you require any further information on the above.
