He said they are yet to decide the amount, but hinted a maximum fine of P3,000 might be imposed.  Boys were brought before the committee for using a defaulter in their games against Lesirane City and Black Rangers. Keitireng said the ruling for Rangers protest has been postponed to Friday. He said the team had failed to serve Boys with a protest letter as per the committee’s instruction. He said in their last appearance Rangers had complained that they were not acquainted with football rules. He said the side was advised to seek help, but failed to do so.

Despite the ruling being pushed to Friday, the matter is expected to be dismissed. “It is clear that the player was involved in matches at a time when he should have been serving suspension. The cards were to automatically fall off in the forth match against Santos. We had expected Santos to also lodge a protest, but they have not done that,” said Keitireng.

Meanwhile, the grass is expected to suffer when log leaders, Black Forest host Boys in Mmankgodi tomorrow. Forest is perched at the top of the log with 41 points while Boys are second with 36. A win for the log leaders would see them promoted to the beMOBILE Premiership.

Forest showed their prowess last weekend when they demolished Santos 3-0.  Forest coach, Murphy Maseko told Mmegi Sport that they are not going to leave anything to chance. He said playing against Boys is a motivation and it has been easy preparing for the clash. “We stand a good chance of collecting maximum points from our opponents because we have good defence. Boys are scored in every match they play and all we have to do is take advantage of that. Punish them early and enjoy the rest of the game,” said Maseko.

Boys’ spokesperson, Tshiamo Mareko said they know what is at stake in tomorrow’s game. He said a win will mean they cut Forest lead to two points. He said they are not out of the league title contention. Maseko said the plan is to go out there and bury all their chances.
