Thutlwe said the reduction implies that the city will focus mainly on labour intensive projects unlike in the past when they had a number of projects. On poverty eradication programme, the mayor said the reason why they had given people equipment and materials with incomplete packages was due to financial constraints. “We had 110 people who had incomplete packages, 73 people thus been provided with complete packages to start their projects. We incur huge expenses in collecting and transporting clinical waste from the clinics and health facilities.”
