The objective of the event was to mobilise members of the community to come together through easter music and celebrate the hope that comes with the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The main performers of the day, Hope Easter Chorus and Orchestra opened the event with a beautiful musical piece called Nearer My God To Thee.

Dr Kopano Mpuang Allmon and Letlotlo Dikgang followed afterwards with a song entitled, The Prayer.  The talented vocalists merged on stage to come up with an inspirational duet.

The tone changed when a talented saxophonist, Adjoa Madiabaso vigorously performed Busetsa Tsotlhe on stage and the crowd could not help but awe at the amazing talent.

The orchestra came back to perform the hymn, Boitshwarelo jwa Modimo and it was a very strong piece to encourage forgiveness as the Easter holidays come closer.

Among the talented youth who performed on the day was Batsile Mogotsi who was also a favourite with the crowd.  The soulful singer performed songs like Via Dolorosa and Champion of Love.  The young man was even commended by one of the emcees on the day, Reverend Thuso Tiego.

The best performer on the day was a talented songtress called, Omaatla Lubinda.  She had an angelic voice that can do wonders to every soul.

Performing songs like Ho Fedile, Lerato Le Kana and Give Thanks, Lubinda gave the audience a moving performance and they had no choice but to get on their feet and dance.

She almost blew the stage away with amazing performances of songs Jeso Rato La Hao and Se Teng Sediba.  The legendary gospel singer, Mmereki Marakakgoro also performed to show youngsters that he still has it in him. To showcase young talent, a group of children called The Emmanuel Kids came on stage to make everyone smile with their innocent voices.

Jazz maestro, Lister Boleseng came on stage to perform alongside Malebogo Kagiso in the song Khotso Khotso.

Boleseng returned on stage to accompany Kagiso once more in the song, Thixo Bawo.

The event pulled a large crowd and the first section of the event was broadcasted live on Btv.  The proceeds of the event will be invested in the Tsholofelo Foundation Orchestra project run by Tsholofelo Foundation and partly sponsored by the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture.
