Bogosibokae died on March 2 in Molepolole after a long illness. His funeral is scheduled for March 12 at Ntlolengwae ward in Molepolole.

Bogosibokae began painting as a student at junior school and had his first solo exhibition at the Kgari Sechele I Museum in 1991. He continued his dedication to art while at Kgari Sechele Senior Secondary School and had further exhibits and won awards. He attributed his love of painting to his favourite teacher, Dan Sibanda, during his days at Kgari Sechele Secondary School.

In 1995-1996 he was a Tirelo Sechaba participant assigned to Lokgwabe Primary School, near Hukuntsi, in the North Kgalagadi District, where he fell in love with teaching art. Following Tirelo Sechaba, he went to the United States to continue his studies at Fontbonne University, St. Louis, Missouri (1997-2001), through a government sponsorship for a degree in Art Education and Fine Arts.

Besides being an avid painter of note, Bogosibokae has taught art and drama at Lotsane Senior Secondary School and he has also done arts administration.

He won the prestigious Thapong Artist of the Year Award in 2006.
