Exhibitors showcased their wedding products including wedding gowns, tents, and cakes, all under one roof.

The expo attracted various exhibitors from all corners of the country including those planning to tie the knot so as to know what is expected on the big day.

It was not a bad start for Heavenly Indulgence’s first attempt as all went well on the day.

Exhibitors that stole the hearts of the audiences were Eve’s Desires, a company based in Gaborone that provides breathtaking lingerie dubbed sexy lingerie for the honeymoon night.

The lingerie varied from lacy bra sets to stockings and body suits to make every new bride feel on top of the world during the first night of the big day.

Vince Boutique in Palapye showcased their cutting edge wedding gowns much to the delight of the audience.

The company specialises in all wedding attires from suits, gowns and wedding accessories. They showcased their jewellery collection from rings, neckpieces and earrings.

The director of Heavenly Indulgence, Clementine Masogo, said the expo was a success even though it was the first of its kind organised by their company.

She said they plan on making the expo an annual activity in Palapye as it gives exhibitors from the village the desired exposure.

“We often hear of big time wedding planners in Gaborone.

However, as Heavenly Indulgence we wanted to give those in the village an opportunity to showcase their products and services and we plan on doing the expo annually.”

Some of the exhibitors were the poverty eradication beneficiaries who went into wedding services and products businesses.

“We often have customers coming to us after being conned by the fly by night agents who claim to be wedding planners. The expo gave them a chance to meet the legitimate planners.

Some of the exhibitors even got tenders after the expo,” she said.

Masogo added that their next fair will be bigger and better as they aspire to invite more exhibitors for their exclusive products and services.
