Best Touch Company director, Dodo Baledi Matlhware said it was the first time for him to make such a donation and that most of the books are Setswana books, because these days the majority of children do not know how to speak the language as they usually communicate in English.

Matlhware said while he started with Maoka CJSS because it is his former school, he will soon start making annual donations to schools in the village.

When receiving the donation, the school head, Tselane Temeki, said they were very happy because it was the first time their school has received a donation.

“We are going to keep some books in the library and give some to Setswana teachers for monitoring purposes. Most students don’t do well in Setswana,” she said.

Best Touch is a 100 percent citizen-owned supplies company. It was formed in 2009 and has employed 14 Batswana to date.

From inception, the company has always found it important to give back to the community.
