Artists thrill revellers at Togetherness tour

The festival is one of the build-up events to Botswana’s 50th Independence Celebration scheduled for September 30 this year.
The Go On hitmaker headlined the show followed by local artists.
Dr Malinga thrilled the audience with his energetic performance, and left the crowd wanting more.
The multi-talented Dr Malinga got the crowd screaming at the top of their voices, as he gave them his trademark high kick dance. Partygoers particularly enjoyed his track, Oteng, which is dominating the airwaves both locally and regionally.
Local DJs spun the decks, much to the delight of the large crowd, which had gathered at the venue.
MMP Family’s tracks Lebala Ka Nna and Makhenekhe seemed to be popular with the crowd.
Their performance was followed by Dramaboi who got revellers singing along to his track Candy.
Odirile ‘Vee’ Sento had the crowd eating out of the palms of his hands. Other musicians who performed on the night include, Dr Tawanda, Scar and Team Distance.
Security was beefed up during the carnival with full lighting in and outside the venue and security guards patrolling everywhere.
The tour will continue to Maun, Palapye, Kasane, Jwaneng, Gantsi, Tsabong, Gaborone, and Kanye and will end in December in Tonota.
