Skeatmoney eyes musical rebirth

Skeatmoney will release a new single called gerara here and will be release a music video first. The kwaito musician who started in 2008, told Showbiz that he was inspired by Vee, Exodus, Eskimos and Mapetla to choose the kwaito genre. “I worked with Amanandos, Chef Gustos, Real Magosi before,” he said.

Skeatmoney said he expresses himself better with Kwaito music. “I will start by releasing a video first but it is very uncommon,” he said. With his new single, Skeatmoney said he wants Batswana and music promoters to know the kind of music he makes.

“I am introducing my brand to the people,” he said. Skeatmoney said in the past he could not succeed because of lack of finances. “We have faced promoters who don’t pay therefore I have engaged a different manager in order to be hands on,” he said. 

Skeatmoney said his single is going to make a mark and he is hoping for nominations at the YAMAS and BOMU awards. “Afterwards that’s when I can accept collaboration because we also believe in teamwork,” he said. He also said they are looking to work with VIB mobile. He said they are also targeting markets in countries like Namibia.
